Facebook users cannot decide whether this ring looks like a coaster, a plate or a wall clock, but they all agree it's ugly.
A woman from Massachusetts shared a picture of the ring to "That's It, I'm ring Shaming", a closed Facebook group dedicated to criticising rings and other pieces of jewellery that divide opinions.
The extremely large ring covers its owner's hand from the index to the little finger. It is made of mix-and-match stones of different colors and sizes and its large, middle-stone is of a creamy color.
The odd looking ring gathered over 100 comments on the group's page and it wasn't long before Facebook users began shaming the ring, with many joking that it was in fact a coaster.

"Why in the hell is she wearing a coaster," asked one. "This is a coaster, right," another echoed.
"I saw this as her holding some sort of coaster in the palm of her hand for at least 30 seconds bc my brain was just not able to register this as a ring," explained one woman.
The piece of jewellery seemed to look like anything but a ring, according to the members of the Facebook group, with some even thinking it was a wall clock.
"I thought this was a clock or something," one commented.

While another joked: 'I have that clock in my kitchen'.
But the stroke of genius came from the foodies, who said the ring was perfect way to enjoy snacks on-the-go, because it looked like small plate. "You could put a snack on this," one joked.
"Convenient place to put a snack, tbh Catch me snacking daintily off my ring," said another.

And, some jokesters could not help but notice that even the dog featured in the picture looked miserable, something they attributed to the ring's ugliness.
"Even the dog looks upset," said one while another added: "Even the dog is disappointed in that ring."
One person summed up the whole affair with a very blunt statement: "Anyone who genuinely likes this should be locked up, they are unstable and a danger to society."
