Famously fat actress Kirstie Alley is the toast of the women's mags this week.
Her story of losing 55kg to gain her fab new bod can be found in Woman's Day and New Idea. Both interviews include the horror pictures of Alley at her whopping 130kg heaviest and the now pics of her being considerably slimmer.
She owes it all to Jenny Craig and she made a few bucks out of it along the way - her show Fat Actress about being a fat actress rated well in the States.
"When I got fat I was being stupid," she confesses.
Of course she did herself out of a job by losing all the weight so getting skinny wasn't exactly a smart move.
Britney's lost a bit of weight too - at least 3kg of it in the form of a son, Sean.
But the Day and the Idea have conflicting yarns about it all.
One says Britney so loves being a mum she wants to do it again straight away and the other that she's panicking about being a mum and has told hubbie Kev that if he wants any more kids (he now has three to two women) he'll have to adopt.
Woman's Weekly's cover story is about poor old Renee Zellweger's 129-day marriage hell. It all ended in tears apparently because Kenny Chesney was a "fraud' - no further explanation but she's going for an annulment rather than a divorce so one can only assume what kind of fraudulent behaviour was going on.
The Weekly also has a weight loss story - the Duchess of Pork telling how everyone looks at her butt when she walks into a room to see if she's still a size 10. She is, and owes it to Weight Watchers.
Uber-waif Kate Moss makes an appearance everywhere. Her dastardly dealing with drugs make perfect mag fodder and the Idea and the Day have the coke-snorting pictures that got her into all that trouble.
No further explanation needed as to how she keeps her weight down.
She owes it all to either the coke or the energetic lesbian romps with Sadie Frost.
In the Weekly Moss says sorry and vows to change her ways. And perhaps if the weight piles on she will take a leaf out of Kirstie Alley's book and do a telly show called Fat Model.
