Furuno has released a powerful second generation development of its NavNet navigation system. NavNet vx2 utilises an Ethernet-based network to exchange data via plug-and-play cables that connect a wide range of sensors, processors and displays. This allows GPS/chartplotter, radar, fish finder and weather facsimile modules to be selected and combined as required, and provides the flexibility to expand the network to include up to five different stations.
