Mustang Cruisers, the Australian builder of powerboats with a reputation for style and performance, is tackling the European market. The British company Ocean Cruising has signed an exclusive deal to distribute the six-model Mustang range in Holland, Spain and Britain. Mustang produces motor cruisers from 8.5m to 14.6m (28ft to 48ft). Under development is a 15.2m (50ft) flybridge model that will be available internationally in late 2007. Ocean Cruising managing director Peter Clarke says the deal means European boat-buyers will be able to experience the style of boating that over three decades has established Mustang as a market leader in the South Pacific.

C & N to build new 42 cruiser in Finland
Camper & Nicholson, the British shipyard established in 1782, is to begin building the Endeavour 42 express cruiser in Finland. Now owned by Nautor, C & N developed the Express 42 at its Gosport yard. It will now move the cruiser to the Nautor yard at Pietarsaari, where the Swan range is produced. The company says it will offer several new layout options for the 14m (46ft) boat, including a double state cabin as an alternative to the existing V-berth.
