In the early 80s, Auckland band the Furys delivered a riveting mash of pub rock, r'n'b, classic pop covers and originals, such as the title track of this 25th anniversary live album recorded at the Kings Arms in late 2004. Here the band, led by singer-guitarist Dave McLean, pumps out that mix of covers and their own songs (like their terrific Thief of Love), and ballsy, wall-shaking rock'n'roll.
