Taneysa Ganda has been working at High St store Fabric for more than four years. Before that, she managed the Karen Walker shop in Wellington.
Who are your favourite fashion designers?
Helmut Lang for the trainers and denim jackets and Marc Jacobs - especially his cashmere cardigans.
What is your favourite accessory?
My Dior headscarf and hat from Pumpkin Patch from the boys' section. It's a plain beige woolly hat for something like $13.99 and is my best buy ever.
What are the staple pieces for a good wardrobe?
Basics. Jean, hoodies and trainers.
What do you wear when you're relaxing at home?
My Rogan tracks and hoodies. I love hoodies.
Any fashion disasters you'd care to mention?
Anything tight, especially jeans. I hate tight jeans. I'd wear baggy jeans any day.
Who does the best handbags?
Gucci and Zambesi. I bought a Zambesi buckled white leather satchel more than six years ago and it's still great.
What is the last item of clothing you bought?
My Rogan hoodie from Fabric.
Favourite hotels?
I haven't stayed at many but it would have to be the Taj Exotica in Goa, where I stayed on my honeymoon recently. Bollywood movies are made there.
We left the hotel for one day to go sight-seeing. It was amazing.
What is your beauty routine?
Nothing fancy. I use The Body Shop's Tea Tree Facial Scrub and one of their moisturisers and M.A.C makeup and that's it. I hate heaps of makeup and stuff on my face. The only time I ever wore foundation was on my wedding day and even then I only used a tiny bit.
Who cuts your hair?
Tiffany Jeans from Servilles Chancery.
What item of makeup would you be lost without?
My Stila lip glaze, which a customer bought for me.
What can't you live without?
My husband Sanjay, my family and friends.
What was the last CD you bought?
Asian Compilation mixed by Master G.
What was the last book you read?
Everything Happens for a Reason by Kavita Daswani.
What's your idea of relaxation?
I love walking. It's my only form of exercise and I get to clear my head at the same time, which is relaxing to me.
What's your biggest indulgence?
Clothes. I've worked in retail since I was 16 so have always been surrounded by clothes and I like buying nice things. I bought some Trippen boots from Scotties recently. They were really expensive. I won't say how much because my mum will be reading this and she'll freak out but I'll never need to buy another pair of brown boots.
What inspires you?
Everything from TV to magazines to my husband. He keeps me going every day.
