Who are your favourite fashion designers?
The ones I can't buy are Prada, Miu Miu and Chloe. The ones I can: Karen Walker, Hailwood, Nom*D, Scanlan and Theodore.
What is your favourite accessory of the moment?
A ring I had made by a friend of mine, Andrew Swann. I wanted to use the money I received from my Nana's estate on something I could treasure. It has pink and green tourmalines in a yellow gold setting - bold and colourful, just like my Nana.
What are the staple pieces for a good wardrobe?
Whatever you like, as long as it fits you properly. I live in jeans, and I think gorgeous-but-practical bras are important, especially if you're a D+. You've just gotta have jandals, too. And a perfume you think really suits you.
What do you wear when you're relaxing at home?
Bare feet.
What is the last item of clothing you bought?
The Zambesi breast cancer T-shirt. I liked the design so much, I had to buy both the white and the black.
What is your beauty routine?
The usual, as well as a facial scrub once a week, to get rid of the dregs of my studio make-up.
What can't you live without?
I know life would be pretty tough without my family and my friends. I love them.
Who does the best handbags?
I've always used handbags I've made myself or bought from op shops. I love soft handbags. I worship Saben's coloured calfskin bags from afar, and love Karen Walker's seasonal hold-alls.
What was the last CD you bought?
Energy State by One Million Dollars. I bought it for my Londonite brother and got myself a copy too. It never fails to put me in a good mood.
What was the last book you read?
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, by Mark Haddon. A strange, charming, highly recommended read.
What's your idea of relaxation?
I love watching movies. DVD if I'm feeling like a homebody, and the cinema for a wee treat.
Who cuts your hair?
I get my hair cut at work these days - a great perk. When my Shortland Street days are over, I'll be heading back to my special lady, Tiffany Jeans at Servilles Chancery.
What item of make-up would you be lost without?
Well, I'd definitely feel less presentable without mascara and Body Shop Beech lip liner.
What inspires you?
Other people's talent. Gifted, creative people can be a joy to be around. They make me want to do better.
