When Motley Crue said they were doing a world tour, cries of "There is a God," were heard around the globe. When you hear songs like Too Fast For Love, Girls Girls Girls and Dr Feelgood, you can appreciate why that cheer went up. Disc 1 has songs from the raucous and randy 1981 album Too Fast For Love, to Dr Feelgood from 1989. That was when the band were at their best. The 90s was a shambles and the music suffered. You can hear those less memorable moments on disc 2 in Generation Swine and the abysmal If I Die Tomorrow.
So be like Tommy Lee and be wild and just kiss and cavort with disc 1. You forget how heavy Motley Crue were. Album opener Live Wire chugs out of the blocks and there's no let-up until the doctor gives us our feelgood medicine.
