As an in-demand high fashion model, Emma Champtaloup leads a "crazy" life of international magazine shoots, catwalks and partying with London's A-listers.
But as of this week, New Zealanders have the 20-year-old all to themselves.
The model from Remuera has stepped out of her jet-setting lifestyle to "chill out" before strutting the runway for the Air New Zealand Fashion Week in September.
In December, Champtaloup was named by the Herald on Sunday as one of the nation's top 21 young talents due to come of age this year.
Since then, life has been a roller-coaster ride. After eight months going to five castings a day and appearing in both London and Milan's fashion week, Champtaloup is glad to be home.
She has partied with Peaches and Pixie Geldof, met Rod Stewart's fashionista daughter Kimberley, talked star signs with Pharrell Williams and lunched with David Beckham.
"I feel like I've grown up about 20 years," she said. "It's so nice to be home. I feel so safe and sheltered in New Zealand, it's quite a change."
