Eminem to headline at historic Irish castle

Eminem is to headline at historic Slane Castle in Ireland this year in a move away from the venue's traditional rock concerts.

Concert promoter and castle owner Lord Henry Mount Charles said he was "privileged" to host the bad-boy hip-hop star, who is touring Europe.

Eminem, who once caused outrage by appearing on stage with a chainsaw, said: "Every tour we try to up the stakes. There will be little surprises here and there. You don't know what may happen."
