Victoria Beckham dominates two covers this week for being pregnant - or is she?
The Woman's Day front page headline is "Posh pregnant again!", although that has changed to "Is Posh pregnant?" on page eight.
And the NZ Woman's Weekly reports that Tom Cruise and Victoria Beckham have struck up a friendship under the heading "Tom woos pregnant Posh".
The more cynical Woman's Day suggests Victoria's fresh baby bump may be their secret weapon to prove in an upcoming libel trial their marriage is not a sham.
On the flipside it claims the Beckhams are deeply desirous of a daughter.
As to Jennifer Anniston's joy - "I'm having a baby" - the fine print reads that, well, speculation is rising she is pregnant to new love Vince Vaughn.
Jen was spotted leaving a medical centre in Los Angeles looking over the moon.
And the magazine reports on Tom Cruise's "baby blues" with the doting father laying down the law to fiancee Katie Holmes over how she looks after her pregnant self with exercise programmes and diet regimes.
It also reports Scientologists forbid the use of drugs or anaesthetics in birth and prefer women to deliver in near-silence, believing it is not good for the child to hear the mother suffering.
That might rattle skinny Mrs Beckham, given rumours in the Woman's Weekly that Scientology zealot Cruise has set himself an almost missionary-impossible task of wooing the Beckhams into the religion.
He may have got his way with his fiancee but the Beckhams could prove more of a challenge.
After dabbling Madonna-like with Kabbalah and little red strings, Victoria is said to be avidly reading a Scientology self-healing book, but will she get all the way through it?
Apparently, Posh has never finished a book in her life.
David, meanwhile, is said to be luke warm on Scientology but flattered by Cruise's interest in them.
A friend says the couple have long worshipped Cruise and Victoria speaks about him with "near reverence".
He is talking of how it will help them expel demons from their marriage, but more tantalising is the chance of getting David a part in Mission: Impossible III.
And on troubled marriages, both magazines report Julia Roberts' separate life from husband Danny Moder.
The Weekly also exposes Mr Darcy hearthrob Mathew Macfayden as Mr Dastardly, having stolen wife Keeley Hawes from her ex-husband of only a few months.
New Idea concentrates on couples in trouble, adding Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey on the list of those to watch.
It leads with "Brad's fury" about Jen's steamy public display of affection with his good friend Vaughn, and inside reveals how steely Angelina Jolie is giving him grief over their alleged wedding plans.
