Someone must have goofed not to have had this collection out before Christmas, as it contains many of the 80s' greatest moments in pop - and two new tracks which are brazen if forgettable throwbacks to the duo's heyday.

But among the remaining 18 songs is much timeless proof that the duo of Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart was a great singles band. At least until they put away the synths and turned up the guitars.
