Stunt stunner
Kiwi stunt woman Zoe Bell has been nominated for two awards at the Taurus World Stunt Awards on September 25.
Bell is up for Best Fight for Kill Bill Vol.2, in which she plays Uma Thurman's stunt double, and for Best High Work (as in high fall) for Catwoman.
The World Stunt Awards honour the "unsung heroes" of the movie industry.
Bell made her name in New Zealand as the stunt double for Lucy Lawless on Xena and moved to Hollywood a couple of years ago to break into the US movie market. At an audition for Kill Bill she impressed director Quentin Tarantino and was, in no time, hired for the movie.
