bFM Saturday morning guy
My typical Friday night is: A bubble bath, maybe some tasty little treats to eat, a bit of 95bFM and occasionally a little bit of pay-per-view television.
Which means on Saturday morning I'm probably: Doing the Saturday Special on 95bFM with Jeremy Wells from 9am to 12pm. That can go in a multitude of different directions, each of which determines the nature of the rest of the day, for better or worse.
And breakfast is at: Often I whip in for a breakfast tortilla before the show at 5 Loaves and 2 Fish on Jervois Rd. Once you've had one there is no turning back.
Saturday evening. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by: It's got to be Elvis circa '72. I was touched by the King on video, so to see him would be amazing.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just: Play my guitar, play with my daughters Heidi and Nina, watch a video with my wife Shirley, immerse myself in some current events.
Sunday morning already, so on the stereo goes: Still loving the second Libertines album.
Time to get out of the house with a Sunday drive to: Last time it was Red Beach on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
Or failing that, it's to the couch to continue reading: I'm reading a book called Cloud Atlas by a guy called David Mitchell (not the 3Ds guy). But newspapers always distract me.
Sunday night. Time for that movie I've been dying to see: Shaun of the Dead.
Or maybe I'll just get the DVD of my perennial fave: I'm not big on repeat viewings, but recent faves were Jane Campion's In the Cut, and Raising Victor Vargas was awesome, too.
