My typical Friday night is:
Dragging some poor schmucks along to a private karaoke room and unleashing my pain, or off to play Risk on a board my friends made that fills their entire dining room (note: do not attack girlfriend's armies).
Which means on Saturday morning I'm probably:
Not talking to my girlfriend or dying for a chocolate shake - best hangover cure in the world.
And breakfast is at:
Benediction if they haven't run out of icecream for said shake Saturday evening.
Saturday night. If my dreams came true there would be a gig by: Flight of the Conchords, Phoenix Foundation and some weird new romantics cover band that play nude and set fire to their instruments.
But if there's nothing else doing I'll probably just:
Be holding down the couch with Alison and marvelling at how our three cats all look the same.
Sunday morning already, so on the stereo goes:
iPod on shuffle presently with a lean towards Style Council.
Time to get out of the house with a Sunday drive to:
Sunday soccer with lots of actors yelling "Not in my face - it's my tool!" Kick it at them anyway to get rid of the competition.
Or failing that, it's to the couch to continue reading:
A Clockwork Orange, hopefully before we open the show.
Sunday night. Time for that movie I've been dying to see:
The Lunatics' Ball. Hear it's a riot.
Or maybe I'll just get the DVD of my perennial fave:
The Goodies - know where I can find it?
* Actor Adam Gardiner plays Alex in the SiLo Theatre production of A Clockwork Orange which opens on Friday and runs until early March.
