Mrs Bean is a timid little rabbit and like many of the other bunnies at the SPCA's Animal Village in Mangere, she has been waiting for a new owner for a while.
The grey and white adult and her kittens were found more than four months ago at One Tree Hill.
Not baby cats, but baby rabbits - kittens is the word used to describe them.
Mrs Bean was brought in on November 24 by a member of the public who tried to look after the kittens, but was unable to, so they soon joined their mother at the SPCA.
Mrs Bean's kittens have been adopted, but the mother seems to be unwanted.
Mrs Bean's village number is 68625.
* The mice featured in yesterday's column were adopted by a family in Birkenhead.
* Each day over the holiday period the Herald is featuring a pet that needs an owner. To help, call the SPCA on (09) 256-7300.
