Cats brought to the SPCA's Animal Village with a litter of kittens that haven't been weaned sometimes have to go into foster care.
Feline attendant Liza Arnold says because the SPCA is full over Christmas, staff members and volunteers often take animals home until there is enough room for them at the village.
This one-year-old grey tabby is one of those cats. She and her five kittens went into foster care for a month after arriving at the village, and although the kittens are still in care, the mother is now looking for a home. Miss Arnold describes her as friendly and fond of cuddles. Her village number is 68305.
