Elvis house for sale on eBay

The first home Elvis Presley owned, a ranch-style house in Memphis, Tennessee, that he bought as his career was taking off is for sale online on eBay.

Presley, then 21, bought the modest, four-bedroom home in 1956 with his royalty earnings and lived there with his parents and grandmother.

A month after moving in, Heartbreak Hotel hit number one on the charts, ending any privacy he had in the neighbourhood. Police were often called in to control the crowds of fans who gathered in the suburban street.
