Elvis and Liam Gallagher on equal level

Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has told a Spanish newspaper that he and the late Elvis Presley are on the same level. "There's Elvis and me. I couldn't say which of the two is the best," he said in El Mundo.

The British group is playing at Spain's foremost rock festival at Benicassim on the tourist-packed Mediterranean coast.

Other top acts include The Cure, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Keane, who are set to play before crowds of more than 30,000 a day.
