The wedding gown Elizabeth Taylor wore when she exchanged vows with Conrad Hilton Jr is heading to the auction block.
The Cleopatra beauty was just 18 when she wed the hotel heir - Paris Hilton's great-uncle - in May 1950, and she wowed her new husband and their star guests by gliding down the aisle in a pearl-encrusted satin dress with a built-in corset, designed by Helen Rose.
The union - the first of eight for Taylor - lasted less than a year, but the dress was kept in top condition and is set to be sold off at Christie's auction house in London on June 26.
The dress is expected to fetch between US$46,500 (NZ$59,070) and US$77,500 (NZ$98450).
Taylor died in 2011.
