Need to keep your young ones occupied these school holidays? LynnMall is offering some green thumb fun from Monday the 1st October until Friday the 12th. A team from the Kaipatiki Project, Auckland Zoo and Auckland Council's Education for Sustainability will inspire young minds with fun eco workshops, challenging children to build a wormfarm, create a vege garden, make a birdfeeder and learn to weave harekeke (flax) by upcycling single-use plastic products like drink bottles. Over 1200 children are expected to take part and the workshops only cost a fiver. For more infromation head to http://www.lynnmall.co.nz/whats-on and download a registration form.
