If you love luxury and enjoy creating food to match, book into Wairarapa's Wharekauhau Country Estate for a cooking course with New Zealand chef Ross Burden, one of the most popular celebrity chefs in the UK. The course runs March 28 - 31, and local produce will be used to create four-course dinners with matched wines. On Friday, March 31 in another course called Fine Dining with Ross Burden, he will prepare, cook and host a four-course gourmet dinner, with selected New Zealand wines. The dinner is $200 plus GST for each person. Packages with accommodation in ocean-view cottages start at $1500 plus GST.
