Doherty faces drugs charges

Rocker Pete Doherty has been formally charged with possession of cocaine and heroin.

The Babyshambles frontman was arrested in November and formally charged this week.

Police refused to comment on reports that Doherty had interrupted a live gig at the Koko club in London to invite his fans to join him in court.
