Jack and Lily were the most popular names for New Zealand-born babies in the last year, according to a survey by maternity clothing company EGG, with traditional names such as Olivia, Sophie, Oliver and Samuel also rating highly.
EGG co-owner Charlotte Devereux said a trend towards traditional names was still evident.
