New Zealand's best unknown directors and bands are competing this week for a Golden Jandal.
The ninth annual Handle the Jandal DIY Music Video Awards will be staged tomorrow night at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington.
Fifteen video clips will compete for Golden Jandal prizes.
The entry criteria are that the video has to feature a New Zealand band and it cannot use any funding grants.
Text voting for the videos, screened on C4 and streamed on its website, ends at 12pm Wednesday and the results for the three best videos are split 50:50 between the texts and the audience vote on the night.
The overall winner is awarded $10,000 worth of use of Peter Jackson's Park Road Post facilities.
