No one was willing to mess with this interestingly shaped sweet potato when it popped up in a Darwin CBD supermarket.
Unable to satisfy the needs of shoppers, it was the last one left on the shelf at the end of the day.
Keen-eyed shopper, Ally Hobbs, a flight attendant who regularly visits Darwin for work, said the titillating tater just didn't look "very appetising".
"It was starting to (go off), it was a bit shrivelled at the end," she said.
"It was the last one there so everybody had thought the same thing as us, that it wasn't very tasty."
She estimated the raunchy root vegetable was pretty accurate "in terms of size".
"It was pretty much to size - the average penis size, maybe on the slightly smaller size," she said.
Ms Hobbs said she would still eat sweet potato - just not that particular one.
It's not the first time phallic fruit and vegetables have stolen the show after a New Zealander sold an eggplant that looked like a large male sex organ for more than $100.
The listing had 51,683 views, making it the eighth most-viewed auction on Trade Me in 2016.
The eggplant sold for $115, with proceeds from the sale going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
In 2015 an Auckland Council-commissioned Transit cloud came under fire for its unique shape.
The artist said the $200,000 sculpture resembles clouds - but New Lynn residents weren't so sure.
"Oh my God, it's a cock and balls," said Phil Wellman, of Blockhouse Bay.
"Don't you think it's rude?" said Henderson mother Janine Waters, walking her two young children in a pram. "It's definitely that. What else could it be," she said.
