Two terminally ill British siblings are hoping to find their long-lost sister in New Zealand before it's too late.
William Mcmonagle, 80, and his older sister Muriel are desperate to find out what happened to their estranged sister Enid, who travelled thousand of kilometres from home to live in NewZealand after a falling out in the mid 1950s.
William's granddaughter Charlotte Tucker, a carer in a nursing home, wants to honour the siblings' shared "dying wish" and is on a mission to put the brother and sisters back in touch.
It would mean the "absolute world" if the dying pair could hear from Enid one last time, she said.
"Neither want to leave this world not knowing anything about their sister.
More than half a century ago, Mcmonagle siblings Muriel, Enid and their late brother Arthur had a falling out over their mother's funeral.
It's hard for youngest sibling William to recall all the details now - at just 15 years of age he was often "away at sea" far from his childhood home on Partington Avenue in Liverpool.
It was believed Enid moved to Auckland in the mid 1950s with her new husband using the £10 immigration passage.
But the Mcmonagle family have no idea what happened next.
Tucker said the entire family would love to find out more about Enid's life.
