Desperate for Emmys

Desperate Housewives star James Denton has a theory for why his show did not get an Emmy nomination for best comedy.

Denton, who plays plumber Mike Delfino, said he thinks Housewives falls "between the cracks" when it comes to Emmy categories.

"I don't think the show is a pure comedy or pure drama and last year, particularly, it was very dark ... there are certainly funnier shows on television, as a pure comedy."
