Dear D&P: My hubby's new job is in the country but I like city life

My husband has accepted a job with great pay, except it is in the middle of nowhere, and I like the city life and don’t know if I can survive it.

Denise says

: If the money is great, and more than city jobs pay, then deal with it for the next couple of years. There are lots of things to do in the country - gumboot-throwing contests, donkey racing, best cow show, cake stalls ... and a pub where everyone knows everyone. Get me there now!

: You sound selfish. If you want to spend his money and love the idea of him being financially successful, I suggest you suck it up. You're not moving to West Africa, so I'm sure you'll survive.
