My brother finds illnesses that require drugs he wants to try, and fakes the illness to the doctor to get them.

: He sounds like someone who will be heading for a real life hospital visit if he continues to act in such a reckless manner. The damage he can do to himself with drugs he does not require is insane. I would tell his doctor - you will be doing him a favour in the long run.
