Robert De Niro made an offer the University of Texas could not refuse.
The actor is donating his collection of film-related materials - scripts, costumes and correspondence - to the university's cultural archive.
There are more than 3000 costume items and props from De Niro's movies, including a full body cast from the 1994 film of Frankenstein, in which De Niro played the monster.
