The store came out on top with its pre-cooked cheese griller, flavoured chicken and frankfurter rounds in the Great New Zealand Sausage Competition.
Peter Timbs Meats in Christchurch won the overall supreme award for its mango and chilli chicken sausage.
The competition is organised by Retail Meat New Zealand and has run since 1994. Entries are accepted from all New Zealand sausage makers whose products are available for retail sale.
Entries are accepted across 12 categories including beef, traditional, international and gourmet.
