By SHOO RAYNER
One day, from out of the sky, a helicopter appeared and landed in my yard. If there's one thing this island is famous for, it's wind, but the blast from the blades of that helicopter nearly blew the house down.
These big guys got out. They were wearing bright orange suits and helmets like they were aliens or something. Angus went barking mad!
The guys were from the phone company. The island has been used as a halfway staging post for the phone cable to the USA.
