Cowell joins the anti-fur bandwagon

Simon Cowell is more used to barking insults than saving skins. But the X Factor and American Idol judge has signed up to the latest anti-fur campaign. A smiling Cowell appears in the poster with his arms around a dog. He says: "If you wouldn't wear your dog, please don't wear fur."

Cowell, 45, follows Hollywood stars Joaquin Phoenix and Charlize Theron, and singer Pink, who have previously appeared in adverts against fur.
