A woman has revealed a horror dating story after she copped vile abuse from an anti-vaxxer who broke up with her after she revealed she'd received the Covid-19 jab.
TikTok user Olivia Krueger shared screenshots of her texts with the male, declaring in the clip's caption that the "bar" for dating "is in literal hell at this rate".
"Can I ask you a stupid question," he wrote, to which she responded there are "no stupid questions".
"Vax?" he responded.
"I am. Is that a problem?" she wrote, at which point things took a bit of a turn.
"I want kids one day and I don't want them to be mutants. Definitely not interested in anyone that caved to the bullsh*t agenda," he responded, before launching into an anti-vax tangent.
"Good luck having mutant children. So ridiculous that some made up bullsh*t by the government can tear people apart that actually enjoy each other for no f***ing reason other than political gain.
"Sad. Sad you caved. I should have known. 'It's history and that's what my make my life off of'. You're (sic) kids will Literally be f***ing mutants. Hahaha. Jesus. How's Biden looking now?"
Speaking to Insider earlier this year, New York couples therapist Kelly Scott said that when people in a relationship have differing views on whether or not to get vaccinated, it's important to discuss those differences as soon as possible and to be curious about their partner's stance and why they have it.
"I think that a lot of the time, probably more than folks would want to admit, we are coming from a place of fear or coming from a place of being scared," she said.
"And the scared-ness, that is what really intensifies the conflict and prevents us from being able to compromise, from really being able to take in the other person's position and feelings."
She advised maintaining your respect for one another when approaching the conversation, and "not [to] see the other person as a villain or, worst-case, an idiot, somebody doesn't know what they're talking about".
