As Kiwis battle with defeating boredom over the four-week lockdown period, Radio Hauraki has come up with a way to share a drink with your friends while remaining in isolation.
Friday drinks have long been a part of New Zealand's genetic makeup. But while we must join forces to steadythe spread of coronavirus, we won't let it stop us from virtually socialising with our friends.
Starting this Friday, the troops from Hauraki will be launching National Happy Hour - a time for great New Zealanders to crack open a cold one and share responsible virtual cheers with their mates.
Between 5pm and 6pm every Friday, share a photo or video of you "cheersing" the camera on your phone then hashtag #VirtualCheers #NationalHappyHour and tag your mates on Facebook and Instagram.
