Actor and comedian Chris Rock is the latest celebrity to join Hollywood's divorce club, reports TMZ.com.
The former-Oscar host has hired a top divorce attorney to began divorce proceeding against his wife of nine years, Malaak Compton-Rock.
The couple have two children together, Lola, 4, and Zahra, 2.
Ironically, the 41-year-old actor is currently working on a film titled, I Think I Love My Wife.
Best-known for his politically incorrect stand-up comedy, Rock often pokes fun at marriage and fatherhood during his act.
In the special Never Scared, he says: "Men! You marry, have kids. You live to be about 38... You'll breathe another 40 years, but the living is over."
Malaak is the founder and executive director of StyleWorks - a charitable organisation that helps prepare women on the benefit to join the work force.
