By EIRLYS HUNTER
He felt like exploding. Why was Bill in such a temper? What was the point of walking out like that? Was he just trying to make Finn feel bad? He hadn't even taken the shopping list, or asked what they needed or anything.
Finn kicked his soccer ball hard against the wall of the hallway. "Bloody, (kick) bloody, (kick) bloody, (kick) bloody, bloody, bloody" - Joe stuck his head out of his bedroom door and nearly got hit.
"Watch it. What's the matter with you?"
"Our bloody father, that's what. He hates me."
"No he doesn't. He's stressed that's all."
"Yeah? What by? He never does anything to get stressed about."
When his father got back from the supermarket, Finn went to help him unload the bags from the car, but Bill's mood wasn't any better.
"This pantry's a mess. How's anyone ever supposed to find anything? And look - there's pasta everywhere. You boys can't even be bothered to close the bag properly. It's hopeless. I give up." He stomped off and left Finn to finish the job.
