Parents and neighbours may well breathe a sigh of relief after the weekend when months of noisy toil is put to the test. The Rockquest is arguably youth music's biggest event - previous winners include Anika Moa, Bic Runga and Zed - and two of the regional finals are on this weekend.
The Auckland final is at Auckland Girl's Grammar School tonight and the Manukau final at the Otara Music & Arts Centre, Manukau, tomorrow. The grand final will be held in Christchurch in October.
