Men who drink just two cups of coffee a day may be at risk of developing incontinence problems, a new study suggests.
The findings indicate that a clear link exists between caffeine consumption and incontinence, Medical Daily reported.
It took just 234mg, or less that two cups of coffee, for problems to surface. Men who did so were 72 per cent more likely to suffer moderate or severe incontinence.
Men who drank more than 392mg of caffeine a day were more than twice as likely to be incontinent.
The study, which was carried out by researchers at Atlanta's Emory University and published in the Journal of Urology, examined the responses of 4000 men.
