Clooney invests in casino development

Life is imitating art for actor George Clooney. He has invested an undisclosed amount in a proposed US$3 billion ($4.35 billion) development called Las Ramblas to be built just off the Las Vegas Strip.

It contains a new casino, boutique hotel and condominium project where the emphasis will be on high-rollers eager to escape the gaudy trappings of the world's largest gambling city.
