Famed shoe designer Christian Louboutin has designed his latest collection in a bid to challenge the fashion industry's narrow definition of the wardrobe colour staple "nude".
The "nudes" range has been released in seven different skin tones, as the designer announces "nude" shouldn't just mean "white skin".

The range has already garnered a following and is being marketed under a tag line created by Louboutin himself: "Nude is not a colour; it's a concept."
