She's been named as one of Glamour magazine's Woman Of The Year honorees.
And Chrissy Teigen proved why she was deserving of the title in the newly-released interview with the US publication, in which she talks anxiety, postpartum depression and her insecurities.
The star, 32, recalled growing up in rural Snohomish, Washington, and says she never imagined she'd be in a position to change cultural conversations, reports the Daily Mail.
She said: "I used to be on anti-anxiety medication because I was confused. I didn't know where I was going in life.
"All I knew when I was younger, or when I was 18, was that I wanted kids and a husband."
"It was a table of, like, Oprah, Michelle Obama, and this woman who ran an incredible charity about sex trafficking in Southeast Asia," she said.
"At this point, I wasn't anything. I remember going back to his dressing room and sobbing."
Over the last few years, Chrissy has cultivated an impressive following on social media, with 10.7 million fans.
Her tweets morphed from partying and hangover cures to fertility issues, motherhood, breastfeeding, and postpartum depression.
She explained: "I thought postpartum was, you have the baby and you're sad. It was like, no. It sneaks up on a lot of people.
"That's why I thought it was important for me to talk about."
She also sees a fierce duty to use her platform to speak out regarding the turbulent political climate.
"Our lives would be so much easier if we didn't dabble in politics at all," she said.
The model and influencer chatted with Jessica Pressler in the tell-all interview, with a photoshoot by Tom Schirmacher.
The 2018 Women of the Year issue is on stands now. This year's honorees, will be celebrated on Monday, November 12 at the annual Women of the Year awards in New York City.
