Chan to break mould

Jackie Chan says his new movie The Myth is an attempt to change his image as a one-dimensional action star.

Chan plays an ancient Chinese general who is reincarnated in modern times and looks for his love interest from his previous life, who has survived because she took a longevity pill.

The film features a racially diverse cast, which includes South Korean Kim Hee-sun and Bollywood sex symbol Mallika Sherawat. It was shot in China and India.
