Celebrities star in new ice-skating show

Former Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are to skate back into the limelight in a new television show.

The ice skaters will be pitted against each other in the series Stars on Thin Ice on the British ITV network. They will turn rivals as they train two teams of sequin-clad celebrities in the "art of ice-dance".

Meanwhile, the BBC has signed up former England soccer star Paul Gascoigne as one of the celebrities to feature in Strictly Come Dancing on Ice.
