The Auckland Food Show ended yesterday after four days of offering tips and serving delicious treats.
With almost 300 stalls and cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs such as Nadia Lim, Simon Gault, Ray McVinnie, Chelsea Winter and Ben Bayly, the event had everything on offer for anyone who is passionate about food.
Australia's Johnny Di Francesco (pictured), who last year won the Pizza World Championship in Italy, was a crowd pleaser with his showmanship and skill in throwing pizza dough.
Ahi Ka Tonics, which makes tea using native New Zealand plants and combines them with herbs, manuka honey and lime juice, and Oceanz Seafood, with their fish and chips and mussel chowder, offered true Kiwi fare.
Visitors also got a taste of ethnic flavours from Hansik, offering modern Korean food, and Naaz, with its curry pastes made from 150-year-old Indian family recipes.
