A cat in a snow swept Serbian town has found an unlikely spot to keep warm: a cinema complex's vending machine.
The cat seemed unperturbed by the attention of movie goers, some who reportedly tried to "win" the animal nestled among stuffed toys.
It was eventually freed after police were alerted and contacted the machine's operator, who unlocked it and removed the cat.
While it's unknown exactly how the cat got inside the machine, a police spokesman told Central European News: "During the weekend the temperature in southeastern Serbia was below 19 degrees Celsius. It's not a surprise that it wanted to get out the cold."
