KEY POINTS:
So it's over. Four days of fast fashion, new clothes and lots and lots of plaid.
I've given you my opinion on all of the shows, but here are some of my highlights from the week that was.
Make sure you check out the fashion week trend report in Viva tomorrow, and find out what you'll be wearing next winter.
1. Jaeha's church service
I really felt for Alex Jaeha Kim this year, with the amount of pressure on him to top last year's show. But he delivered with a knockout range inspired by Russian princesses and opulence: gorgeous tie dye pieces, flowing gowns, paisley prints and interesting draped silk drape dresses.
Held at St-Matthew-in-the-City in the early morning, and with quiet hymn-like music, it was a welcome change of pace. Plus Kim is so infectiously passionate about his label and fashion in general, which I find so refreshing in an industry that can get far too jaded and cynical.
2. Twentysevennames' playlist
I love the girls behind this label (Anjali and Rachel), and their much-loved fashion week collection called Crazy Horse was another fantastic step forward for their brand. The show kicked off with Dr Dre, and Notorious BIG's Hypnotize played halfway through - and the usually po-faced front row loved it. Their dreamcatcher printed goody bag was also a massive hit.
3. Ladies who lunch
Some may have taken offence to there being a baby in the show (which was included because she recently launched babywear), but Juliette Hogan's beautiful show was still one of my highlights. How could you not love a show that has a rug as the runway and a trumpeter playing beforehand? I think Hogan described it best when she said she wanted it to be like a "debauched tea party".
Chelsea Thorpe was another who sent out a fantastic prim but sexy range that featured tight fitting dresses and skirts with raw cut tiers, gorgeous full skirt brocade skirts, and chiffon blouses worthy of any lady in waiting.
4. The MAC and ghd lounge
The saving grace for most of the media who were working long hours during the week. The lovely MAC and ghd teams did free hair and makeup for VIPs, who left looking a lot fresher than when they walked in.
Not only that, the lounge had a friendly relaxed buzz compared to some of the other lounges at the fashion week venue.
5. Huffer
The Huffer team knows how to put on a good party, and they didn't disappoint with the final show of the week.
Everyone had to be out of the after party at the Hilton at 10.30pm, but the crowd soon moved on to the after-after-party at Tabac, which was so packed no one could move.
