Address: The Pavilions, 5B Gore St, Britomart
We came here because we needed to check out the popular new eatery in the hip Britomart precinct.
Parking was no problem for us. There were a few spots on the surrounding streets and the area is well-situated in the city, with plenty of public transport options.
We walked in and immediately thought the place was buzzing. The Store opened up a couple of months ago and has been on my radar since. It is a fresh little haven in Auckland's cityscape.
The most unusual thing on the menu was a tie between the poached eggs with caramelised cauliflower, almonds, raisins and capers ($15.50) and the rancher eggs - corn tortilla, queso fresco, black beans, mole rojo, pico d'galo and fried eggs ($18.50)
