The menu has the usual brunch favourites, with plenty of extras like grilled flatbread and pancetta with avocado, egg, mushroom and capsicum or egg soldiers, crumbled egg, parmesan cup, truffled mushrooms with melba toast. You can also order crepes - like wild berry, mint, candied zest, rose water and yoghurt - and galettes.
The look is modern and chic with Bentwood-style chairs indoors, and woven chairs outside giving it a Parisian feel. There are plenty of newspapers to share around, chess sets to play with and a selection of treats and gifts to buy.
The food was delicious and served on hot plates! We tried the potato, onion and herb hash with poached egg, crispy bacon and hollandaise, the eggs benny with poached salmon and the petit dejeuner - a yummy apricot pastry, baguette and jam with juice and coffee. After that we could only gaze at the counter food - a delectable selection of eclairs, macaroons, pastries, tarts, millefeuilles, mini quiches and bruschetta.
The coffee is Altezano Brothers, with good flavour and strength.
